Tax Senior | £30,000 - £42,000
A leading regional accountancy and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior to join its expanding team. This is a full-time opportunity for a driven professional with strong tax compliance experience and a genuine interest in corporate tax advisory.
The Role
As a Corporate Tax Senior, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality tax compliance services for a varied portfolio of corporate clients. You’ll also assist in the preparation of R&D tax relief claims and contribute to advisory projects in collaboration with senior management.
Responsibilities include:
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns for a diverse client base
• Assisting in the preparation and submission of R&D tax claims
• Supporting senior team members on a range of advisory assignments
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Ensuring compliance with current tax legislation and internal quality standards
About You
Qualifications & Experience:
• ATT/ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent), ideally with at least 1 year post-qualification experience
• Alternatively, strong relevant experience in corporate tax compliance will be considered
• Previous exposure to advisory work is advantageous
Skills & Attributes:
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage deadlines effectively
