A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this busy Accounting Practice as an Accountant. Close to Newmarket’s town centre, with plenty of free parking and within walking distance of public transport links, this company is based in the perfect location. A newly refurbished historic building, that will immerse you into the town’s main trade of horse racing, this is a unique and prestigious role with some of the most interesting clients you will likely ever meet.

The role would suit a qualified or part-qualified professional with either ACA, ACCA or QBE looking to establish themselves in a reputable and supportive practice. In return for dedication and hard work are an offering of further progression and a competitive package, which includes flexible start and finish times, hybrid working and part-time options upon discussion.

As the Accountant you will be:

• Preparation of Accounts and corporate tax
• Assisting clients with their company and personal tax
• Manage a portfolio of clients
• Support partners and lead a small team

As the Accountant you will have:

• Great communication skills and a desire to work closely with clients
• Exceptional attention to detail
• ACCA/ACA/QBE Qualification part or full
• Experience working in practice or a strong and demonstratable desire to move into Practice Accounts
