Production Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Planning Engineer to join our state-of-the-art facility.


In this crucial role, you won't just be managing schedules; you'll be the architect of operational readiness. Reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager, you will lead the day-to-day

As the Production Planning Engineer you will:


• Master Planner: Generate and issue comprehensive, regulatorily compliant maintenance packages that set our engineering teams up for success.

• Operational Readiness: Conduct thorough reviews of work packages, ensuring all consumables, tooling, and materials are identified and readily available before a single wrench is turned.

• Cross-Functional Leader: Coordinate essential pre-input meetings with internal departments, ensuring a smooth transition for every maintenance project.

• Technical Authority: Interpret complex OEM manuals, technical drawings, and service bulletins to provide clear, actionable guidance to our maintenance teams.

• System Guru: Progressively update internal systems (experience with AMOS, OASES, or Rusada is a major plus) and review completed cards for absolute accuracy.

• Culture Champion: Actively promote our industry-leading safety, quality, and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) culture.

• Innovator: Drive continuous improvement ideas and lean principles across the department.

As the Production Planning Engineer our client is looking for: 

• Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a Part-145 aircraft maintenance planning environment.

• Self-Motivated Team Player: The ability to work unsupervised while grasping opportunities to exceed internal and external customer expectations.

• Technical Savvy: Strong technical knowledge of Bombardier, Embraer, or similar aircraft types.

• Organisational Excellence: Excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

• Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of Health and Safety, Human Factors, and EASA/CAA Regulatory requirements.

• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly master in-house MRO software.

• Shift Pattern: A balanced rotational 5-5-4 day shift pattern, offering excellent work-life balance.

• Flexibility: A degree of flexibility and occasional overtime is expected to meet operational demands.
