Operations Coordinator

An excellent opportunity to join a growing and flexible business as part of our head office team, reporting to the Operations Manager. In this role, you’ll support the smooth running of a wide range of construction contracts and play a key part in the organisation’s ongoing growth.


You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll liaise confidently with clients, subcontractors and internal teams. You should be comfortable working across various software platforms and bring the initiative, drive and willingness to learn that will allow you to quickly make the role your own.


Benefits include a 35-hour working week and hybrid working. Our client will also consider reduced working hours if required.


As the Operations Coordinator you will be:

• Coordinate project schedules, resources and subcontractor availability.

• Communicate all job details to subcontractors and ensure materials and equipment are prepared.

• Handle last-minute changes professionally and keep projects on track.

• Ensure subcontractors submit accurate, timely documentation and photos.

• Maintain organised project records and produce clear client and management reports.

• Support follow-up quotes or additional works and help improve systems as the business grows.

• Represent the company professionally in all communications.


As the Operations Coordinator you will have:

• Great organisational with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a busy, challenging environment.

• Proactiveness with a drive to improve processes and outcomes.

• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and confident with new software.

• Team player ability to build positive relationships across the business.

• Strong analytical ability, comfortable breaking down complex projects.

• Construction or general building experience/interest is a plus.
