Support Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an international organisation as a Support Engineer. Due to progression our client is looking to expand the team by appointing another Support Engineer with knowledge or exposure to SQL.

As the Support Engineer you will be providing 2nd line support to clients that are using the platform.  If you would love to work in team that are regularly rewarded and offered development / promotion within then this opportunity could be of interest to you.  There is an excellent benefits package being offered making this a dream opportunity to work in a really positive and collaborative way enabling you to fully learn and develop your technical skills daily and be part of something special. As a Support Engineer you will be:

  • Joining a team that monitors and maintains an online application environment
  • Acting as a primary escalation point and providing mentoring to 1st Line Support Engineers
  • Responsible for Tier 2 diagnosis and investigation of technical issues to ensure Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventative measures are undertaken
  • Responsible for the completion of RCA reports for Major Incidents
  • Work closely across functions to ensure priorities are aligned and SLA’s are met

As the Support Engineer you will have: 

  • Experience within a technical support role
  • Experience of SQL
  • A proven track record of troubleshooting technical issues / complex problem solving
