Purchashing Manager
We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our clients purchasing department. You will be overseeing the procurement of goods and services for their organization as well as being responsible for developing, implementing, and managing purchasing strategies that ensure the organization is obtaining the best value.
As a Purchasing Manager you will be:
- Responsible for the Material Spend and ensure that the purchasing function participates fully in the established processes for new product introduction and change control.
- Placing orders with vendors
- Ensuring that stock levels are maintained on multiple sites
- To monitor the performance of team members, ensuring smooth & efficient receipt of orders
- Develop performance measures for Purchasing and SOP
- Monitoring of vendor performance, rejects and lead times,
- Reporting to the Operations Manager each month and assisting with the implementation of measures to improve performance in these areas.
As the Purchasing Manager you will have:
- Previous experience within similar purchasing or supply chain role
- Ideally having a background within manufacturing
