Production Shift Engineer

Due to company expansion, we are seeking a talented and experienced Production Engineer to join our clients manufacturing team. In this role, you will be assisting the production department with your engineering understanding and knowledge as well as playing a key role in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.

As a Production Shift Engineer, you will be:

·        Diagnosing faults and repairing production machines and equipment, such as Lathe Machines and associated Equipment.

·        Completing and updating tasks using a Maintenance based software.

·        Providing assistance to Service Engineers as and when required.

·        Assisting in the training of new staff and progression training of existing staff.

·        To investigate and where possible offer suggestions for process improvements and/or cost reductions.

 

As a Production Shift Engineer, you will have:

  • Experience and qualifications with Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a production engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of CNC lathe machines and production processes preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
